We at The Grange aim to provide residents
with a homely and caring enviroment.
We activly encourage the residents to be independent and as self- determining
as possible, to enhance their qualtiy of life and ensure a sense of well being and self-fulfilment.
We acknowledge
the residents rights to be treated as individuals and ensure that all care given reflects this.
We aim to recognise
the individuals' physical, social, psychological, emotional and spiritual needs and meet them.

The Grange has an excellent working relationship with local GP's, Optitians, Dentists and Chiropodist. Physiotherapy can be arranged if required.
There are registered nurses on duty 24hours a day and the home operates
a system of team nursing.
We recognise that the residents may experience problems, both emotional and practical,
and by working together aim to resolve them in a sensitive and appropriate manner.
Above all we strive to create
a sense of community and a safe and nurturing enviroment for all our residents.
TRAINING We recognise the need to ensure that our staff are offered support and training to develope their
clinical skills and to facilitate this all our staff, both trained first level nurses and Health Care assistants, are offered
individual training packages. All care staff are given the opportunity to undertake NVQ training. Trained staff
are encouraged to undertake further training to support them in maintaining their registration with the NMC. Our staff
are handpicked for their skills and clinical expertise, so that we can continue to provide and improve the highest standard
of care for which we are known.
